Who we are

A Tutoring Service Built Around One Result:
Get Better, Faster.

We are an online tutoring service for one subject: Cambridge IGCSE Physics (0625). One job, done properly, which is getting your child a better Physics grade in the shortest time possible.

Our tutors are Cambridge IGCSE Physics specialists. They teach 0625 every day, so they know the command words, how method marks split, and where Paper 6 bites. Every student gets private 1-to-1 classes, never a group, on a live shared whiteboard.

How Your Child Gets Their Tutor

We assign your child a tutor from our vetted bench. Every tutor on it has passed the same quality bar, so there is no lottery in the assignment. The trial class is the compatibility check: your child meets their tutor in a real lesson before a weekly slot is built around them. Not working? Tell us and we swap the tutor. No admin fee, no notice period.

The founder

The Educator Who Vets Your Child's Tutor

Rig, founder of IGCSEPhysics.com.my

Rig

Founder · IGCSEPhysics.com.my

  • Mechatronics Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM)
  • 8 years teaching IGCSE & SPM Math and Add Math
  • 9,000+ subscribers watching his free math teaching videos on YouTube
  • Personally interviews and vets every Physics tutor on this service

Rig trained as an engineer, then spent the last 8 years doing something engineers rarely do: teaching. Thousands of hours of 1-to-1 IGCSE and SPM Math and Add Math classes, and a YouTube channel of free add math lessons that has grown past 9,000 subscribers. He knows, from the inside, exactly what excellent exam-focused teaching looks like and how rare it is.

That's why this service exists. Instead of scaling his own teaching hours, Rig now applies that educator's standard to a different problem: finding and vetting Cambridge IGCSE Physics specialists, so parents don't have to gamble on a stranger. Every Physics lesson is taught by a vetted 0625 specialist. Rig's job is making sure nobody joins the bench who doesn't teach to the standard he held himself to. A tutor who cannot teach to that standard never meets your child.

The team

Handpicked, Not Crowdsourced

Vetted before they teach

Every tutor passes the founder's interview, a live teaching watch, and mark-scheme accuracy checks before meeting a student. Most don't pass.

0625 only

They teach Cambridge IGCSE Physics every day. They know the command words, how method marks split, and where Paper 6 bites.

Syllabus-checked notes

Every guide on this site is checked against the 0625 syllabus before it goes live. Same standard your child gets in class.

We don't publish tutor bios, because every tutor on the bench has passed the same vetting. You'll meet your tutor properly in the trial class, which tells you more than any profile page.

How we teach

Aimed at the Mark Scheme, Not Just the Notes

Physics marks live in the method: equation, substitution, rearrangement, the unit on the answer. Our tutors fix the working line by line, then drill past papers before each exam series, including the Paper 6 skills most students drop marks on.

It is structured, exam-first teaching, the same approach on every topic in our free revision library.

The vetting is our job. Judging the result is yours, in one trial hour.
