Rig interviews tutors, observes teaching and checks their familiarity with Cambridge IGCSE Physics 0625 assessment. He does not teach the Physics students.
K. S. Tan: Physics review
K. S. Tan has more than 15 years teaching IGCSE Physics. He supports syllabus alignment and reviews content only where that review is individually completed and recorded.
Assigned tutors: student lessons
The assigned tutor teaches the live one-to-one lessons. The paid trial allows the student and parent to assess that tutor’s explanation style directly.

Why Rig’s Teaching Background Is Relevant, and Where It Stops
Rig trained in Mechatronics Engineering at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and has eight years teaching IGCSE and SPM Mathematics and Additional Mathematics. His YouTube channel has more than 9,000 subscribers watching free Additional Mathematics lessons.
That experience is relevant to tutor vetting because it gives him a practical standard for explanation, diagnosis, worked method and student participation. It is not presented as IGCSE Physics teaching experience. Physics lessons are taught by the assigned tutors, while K. S. Tan provides the site’s named Physics subject-adviser role.
During vetting, Rig assesses whether a tutor can explain accurately, respond to student working and use Cambridge 0625 questions responsibly. The paid trial remains the family’s opportunity to judge the assigned tutor in practice.
IGCSE Physics subject adviser and content reviewer
K. S. Tan: 15+ years teaching IGCSE Physics
K. S. Tan supports syllabus alignment and reviews Physics explanations, equations, worked solutions and Core or Supplement guidance.
His review scope includes conceptual accuracy, equations, units, worked solutions, practical skills and the distinction between Core and Supplement content for the active syllabus cycle.
The site does not use his name as a blanket endorsement. A page only displays “Reviewed by K. S. Tan” when that individual page has been reviewed, dated and entered in the review tracker. Other pages state that they were checked against the current syllabus and identify him as the subject adviser.

What the Vetting Process Is Intended to Check
Can the tutor explain accurately?
The tutor should be able to move from a concept to an example without replacing precise Physics with vague shortcuts.
Can the tutor respond to student working?
One-to-one teaching should diagnose the student’s equation choice, unit handling, diagram or explanation rather than deliver a fixed lecture.
Does the tutor understand 0625 assessment?
The tutor should know the current syllabus scope, Core and Extended differences, paper structure and practical-skills requirements.
Passing an internal vetting process is not the same as guaranteeing compatibility with every student. That is why the service begins with a paid taught trial.
