What the Trial Lesson Is Really For

The point of the trial lesson is simple: see whether your child is comfortable with the tutor before you build a weekly slot around them. Teaching style, pace, the way things get explained. If that does not click, nothing else matters.

A good Physics tutor will also get a feel for where marks are leaking: missing equation lines, dropped units, and the way answers are explained. You are free to ask for a quick summary and the tutor's teaching plan moving forward.

Honest Answers Before You Book

Why start with a trial lesson?
Because it is the compatibility check. One hour, at your tutor's normal rate, and nothing beyond it. Your child and the tutor actually work together before anyone commits to a weekly slot. It protects you, and it protects our results.
Is it a sales pitch?
No. Nobody phones to pressure you and there is no obligation after the hour. It is a taught lesson, not a demo: your child works through real questions while you watch. If it is not the right fit, you say so and that is the end of it.
What do we need?
A laptop or tablet with Zoom or Google Meet, a decent connection, and this week's school topic. That's it. We bring the questions.
My child is shy online. Will it work?
Usually fine within twenty minutes. 1-to-1 is far less scary than a hand-up in a class of 40. If the tutor's personality doesn't click, tell us and we swap them. No admin fee, no notice period.
