What is IGCSE Physics demand like around Setapak?
Setapak is a densely populated area of north-east Kuala Lumpur with several college and university campuses.
Students around Setapak study Cambridge IGCSE in international and private schools across Kuala Lumpur, or sit it as private candidates.
What is the wider Kuala Lumpur picture?
Kuala Lumpur is Malaysia's capital and largest city, with the widest choice of international and private schools in the country. Setapak is one of 23 places in Kuala Lumpur where tutors on our bench can be based.
Why tutor online from Setapak?
Tutors outside the Klang Valley often struggle to find enough IGCSE students nearby. Online, the whole country is your catchment. When a family enquires, we look at their child’s marked work and pick the tutor whose strengths fit it.
Where do students near Setapak sit the exam?
British Council runs Cambridge IGCSE examinations in Kuala Lumpur, and many Cambridge schools across the Klang Valley also enter private candidates. If you tutor private candidates, knowing this helps you plan their Paper 1 or 3, Paper 2 or 4, and Paper 5 or 6 preparation.
What will you teach?
A lesson is 1.5 hours with one student on a shared whiteboard. You see every line of working as it is written, so errors get caught at the exact step where they happen. The full syllabus is mapped in our topic library.
We also recruit from towns close to Setapak, such as Chow Kit, Desa ParkCity, Desa Petaling, Kepong and KL Sentral.
